So I realized today that being the parent of a toddler is much like being a magician. The glitz and sparkle gets their attention, mind reading is a must, stuff vanishes and appears in the most impossible places, misdirection is key, and good entertainment is laden with deception... Speaking of which... It's time to see Santa..
Hey Magicians, I'm quite proud of this review of my Castle Lecture DVD:) makes me all warm inside.
So here's a blog post I wrote back when I shot TEEN BEACH MOVIE. Just found it in my drafts, so its a bit belated but here for you all :)
Where does the time go? I've been away from the internet, twitter and Facebook quite a bit lately, taking care of family, and figuring out the next road to turn down in life's journey.
Strangely, every hour has been taken up with something fascinating, and that's just how I like it, family has been inspirational and the love I feel for little two year old is greater and more intense than I could ever have thought. She makes me laugh daily, true genuine laughter that surprises me and comes from way down deep.
ACTING wise I've been working on many shows, Major Crimes, Anger Management, Betas and a christmas movie for Hallmark that looks amazing.
I've also had the pleasure of helping develop a pitch for a series with ITV, a show that was created by my beautiful wife, Inna Korobkina, and I can't talk about that either! so why the hell am I blogging about it?!
Movie wise, my last film Disney's TEEN BEACH MUSICAL broke all kinds of records and if you have kids, or ARE a big kid you will probably have had to sit through it numerous times. I had a blast shooting the classic villain role for that, right out of a Terry-Thomas movie haha. It seems to have become the GREASE of the teens and tweens set and I'm proud to have been a part of it. The music and dance sequences are some of the best we've seen on TV in quite a while.
I have quite a few stories from that shoot, a few of which I will share in the next blog.
Here are a few pics from the shoot of the incredibly talented cast.
PLEASE RETWEET: Thanks to the wonderful suggestions of some of you, a You Caring Account has been set up to help the family of little Alice . This is the link
thank you all
Sometime when we blog, we write funny, cute observations, sometimes we deal with the hardships of life.
This is Life, and death.
As some of you know my little daughter Evie's best friend Alice passed away at the beginning of this month. Just a few days after we celebrated her 2nd birthday.
The family, besides aching with pain of losing a child, is also having a tough time financially.
If any of you can afford to make a donation to help them during this painful time it would mean a lot to all of us.
Thank you for your support! Send whatever you can to:
Alice Marie Ferguson Fund

Here is a picture of Alice, on the left and Evie, on the right. This could happen to any of us, if social media is good for something, surely this is it.
Welcome to the new stevevalentine.com and about bloody time too!
It's taken a ridulous amount of time to get this set up, as I've not just been acting but writing, selling, producing, directing, pitching, creating a whole new line of amazing magic and publishing a graphic novel. I have a tendency in life to jump in the deep end, in everything I do, from work to relationships.
I think it coms from being told 'you cant do that!' my whole life. It makes me wanna jump in before anyone can stop me. It's a steep learning curve people, but I highly recomend it!!
The greatest leap I ever took was when I recently became a Dad, probably the greatest magic trick I have ever pulled off! My daughter is almost two years old... wow , she actually told me put my phone down today... yeah., "Papa, no phone, NO PHONE!"
It's appropriate that I launch my new web home this evening, as tonight was the premiere of my latest Disney Movie TEEN BEACH MOVIE. and Disney has been a home for me for the last few years. Four movies and fifty episodes of a wonderfully funny sitcom I'M IN THE BAND. (check out the music video on my videos page, sweet!)
As far as TEEN BEACH goes, I had a blast playing Les Camembert, even if I did accidentally shave my moustache off half way through filming (that's a story for another posting). Nothing like a production team scourng San Juan Puerto Rico for fake mustaches... yeah, Hi, Im steve and I'm a professional :)
I'm also going to import my old blog here and keep it all together.
We will have the latest news, gossip, memorabilia, magic, videos photos and more, so hold on, we are just getting started!
